I turn hardware, interfaces and processes into software that is simple to use and maintain.
I’m Nicolò, a software architect based in Bergamo. I design and develop custom solutions for companies that need to control devices, make complex data easier to understand, automate work or connect systems that do not yet communicate.
My recent work includes tractor instrument clusters, ESP32 firmware, machine-data integration, hardware I/O, Qt/QML and LVGL interfaces, internal tools and Android apps. When I join an existing codebase, I study how the system behaves, identify the safest point of intervention and move forward with focused, tested and maintainable changes.
I currently work with SDF Group and Work Louder. Before changing code, I gather the context I need: build status, reference hardware, logs, edge cases and the project’s technical constraints.
What I work on
I build embedded firmware, intuitive HMI for operators, native apps, websites and web applications, reusable software libraries, backends and integrations. I can design a new solution or improve an existing product, from architecture and development through testing and release.
The method
I establish the context before changing code: goals, constraints, hardware, workflows and the existing codebase. From there I reduce uncertainty, break the work into small, verifiable steps and ship changes with a clear purpose, measurable impact and controlled risk.
